Instrumentation

Real-time measurement of what your breathing is actually doing.

Live data. Behavioral science. Used in every engagement.

What it is

Capnography measures the carbon dioxide in your breath, in real time. That measurement reveals what your breathing is actually doing – not what it looks like from outside, not what you think it’s doing, but what’s happening inside the body, breath by breath.

This work has used capnography instrumentation since 2007. It’s not an add-on. It’s how we see what’s actually limiting you – and how we know when something has changed.

The new instrument

The newest model is a lightweight headset, worn during normal activity. No medical-looking apparatus. No consumables. Wearable while you work, train, present, perform – wherever the real situation is.

What it does:

  • Live CO2 measurement, breath by breath
  • Streams to phone, tablet, or computer
  • Records independently – no devices required during the session
  • Patented design

What’s different from earlier generations: light enough to wear during real activity, not just in a clinical setting. That means we can see what your breathing does when you’re actually under load – not just when you’re sitting still being measured.

How it’s used in the work

In an engagement, the instrument is how the assessment becomes real. We don’t guess at what’s happening. We see it.

  • During a working session, your live breathing physiology is visible on screen – yours to see, mine to interpret.
  • Patterns become obvious that wouldn’t be obvious any other way.
  • Over a Learning Program, you take the instrument home and use it in real situations. The change happens there – not in my office.

The instrument doesn’t replace the work. It makes the work measurable.

Who uses it

  • Performance athletes training under real conditions
  • Practitioners across health, performance, and behavioral fields
  • Clinics and organizations integrating it into their work
  • Individuals committed to understanding their own physiology
